TEACHING MATHEMATICS AS
STORYTELLING (TMS)

What is TMS?

In learning mathematics, story-telling is an influential cognitive device that can help provide substance to the ostensibly extraneous data, algorithms, and problems that the students learn inside the classroom. In this course, students will acquire methods of teaching mathematics using fun stories for better comprehension and for the students to appreciate the course as they will encounter it in a fun and exciting way.

In this course, a more advanced method of teaching mathematics will be discussed. However, all topics will be incorporated into storytelling designed to fit the complicated topic of the course. Students will be exposed to different forms of games that will be used to teach numbers and figures.
