Diploma in Media Studies

Program Description
This program is offered by Concordia International University. The diploma program is focused toward understanding the practices in the creative industry. Innovations taking place in the media industry are touched upon, film and television practices are looked at, and every criterion within that is studied. Journalism and contemporary issues taking place in the media are also covered through this diploma. The learners will build up attention to the key advances related to web and application improvement. Students will have an awareness of motion graphics principles, be able to prepare a motion graphics proposal, produce a motion graphics outcome, use presentation methods and evaluate their practice. The planning and presentation of storyboards are addressed through the diploma. Further, interview and presentation skills are studied by addressing different purposes. Studies on technological aspects of audio recording are also looked at in the program. Research elements within media studies covering all the knowledge attained will also be tested.

Diploma in Media Studies

Program Description
This program is offered by Concordia International University. The Higher Diploma focuses on sound media studies and the elements within that area. Films and production points are discussed, film making practices and the criticisms within the industry, and the production practices in the creative media industry will be looked upon. Digital presentation in the current scenario is addressed and in an advanced setting, as well as advances that are taking place in the industry. Industry advancements and its changes are also covered in the higher diploma. Work-based learning experience is looked at, self knowledge will be reflected, and visual effects and its practices will be tested. The expert duties of reportage, which are applicable to a scope of media areas will be studied.
