TESOL (Diploma)

Program Description

This course is an introduction to Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), intended for those who consider a career in TESOL. Through a program of lectures, readings, discussions, and practical teaching exercises, the course will explore the educational contexts in which English is taught and learned.

Program Description

The Higher Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages is available for instructors who already have their TESOL Diploma and want to pursue a postgraduate education or their master’s degree. It focuses on the development of competencies in appropriate multidisciplinary teaching techniques for students who are native and non-native speakers.

Program Description

This course focuses on teaching methods for age groups two through twelve, and the different developmental stages of children. Instructors focus on a variety of TEC methodologies, classroom disciplines, and a combination of methods that work best in TEC classrooms.
